Overview:

District 18 - Tampines, Pasir Ris, Simei

This area is probably the third largest new town in Singapore’s sunny island. Tampines is an eastern region town home to many residents who are looking for more spacious living, with slightly larger (or affordable) property units. Tampines was once upon a time occupied by swamps and rubber plantations.

Since then it has come a long way, with iconic newer developments such as The Tapestry by renowned developers such as City Developments Limited (CDL). Tampiness is also one of the four designated regional centres as part of the URA’s masterplan to decentralise congestion from the CBD area and spread more opportunities to work and plan evenly across the island.

Despite its distance from the city centre, Tampiness has a few developed malls – supplying a stead availability of amenities, F&B, lifestyle and entertainment options to the residents in this district.
