While properties in this area are close to the city centre and Orchard Road, being slightly less costly than other town area districts does not mean you can easily find good deals. The novena / newton area is in close proximity to Toa Payoh, with Kallang towards the east and Tanglin towards it’s south, and if you look slightly westward there’s Bukit Timah, another pricey neighbourhood.
